The non-profit organization, "Steps towards Social and Economic Independence" is the fruit of a new social vision that believes in the power of people to help themselves and the society they live in.
We have made it our goal to empower the weak strata of society by means of private assistance to confront their daily hardships, by encouraging business enterprises, and by the inculcation of collective and equal opportunity principles, ahead of those of pragmatism. These activities are part of a comprehensive plan that aims to crystallize a single national identity – that of being an Israeli, as a precondition to narrowing the socio-economic gaps and creating social coherence among the people of Israel.
We believe in the need to build a peaceful and stable society and this organization was created and works to find ways to offer people the opportunity to lead an honorable life.
